Clothing

Play clothes are best for preschool because of messy activities. Children should be able to manage their clothing easily at toilet time. Also, all children are required to wear underpants.

Children should be dressed appropriately for the weather. When in doubt, send more clothing. Unless the weather is below 15 degrees above zero or raining, the children will spend some time outside. Outdoor clothing should be easy for children to put on independently. Teachers will help with zipping and tying.

BE SURE TO LABEL ALL CLOTHING ITEMS YOUR CHILD MAY REMOVE as mittens, hats, boots, scarves, sweaters, jackets may look very much alike.

We prefer your child wear rubber-soled shoes so they may participate in all activities. Please avoid clogs, sandals, patent leather shoes, and cowboy boots.
